You’re a mom who wants to wake up refreshed and feel clear, patient and PRESENT through your day.

You’re a mom who wants deep sleep, have energy, deep connection with others, time for yourself, exercise, eat healthy, feel like a great mother, and step into the life of your dreams... Really, to feel GOOD in your life.

But that’s not the current reality.

Instead, you’re drained. And it’s affecting every facet of your life: motherhood, work, relationship with your partner, physical and mental health, and your self-care. You may not even be sure how or WHY you feel so drained no matter what you do. You’ve tried to feel better and it hasn’t worked.

You’re tired of feeling this way and not knowing how to turn it around.
I get it. I was once in that place, too and it was a fog of exasperation. I saw every mom around me struggling with the same thing, which gave me a mild resignation that I’d never have energy, sleep or feel really GOOD again. Thankfully, that wasn’t true. I committed myself to getting out of my own way, to changing things and to investing in ME. I can now happily tell you that it IS possible to turn things around when you have the right habits, accountability, support and community of women around you! And it’s why I care so deeply about sharing this with you.

Motherhood is AMAZING!
But your day-to-day definitely doesn’t feel that way.

  • Literally need caffeine to make it through the day?
  • Find that you just zone out with screens at night after the kids are asleep?
  • Have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep or getting enough sleep?
  • Feel convinced you’ll never lose weight?
  • Want to move and exercise but are too drained to do it?
  • Drown out the fatigue and frazzle with alcohol or marijuana?
  • Make poor food choices because you’re too tired to do anything different or better?
  • Have no idea where your energy went or why you can’t seem to get any?
  • Feel trapped by circumstance or powerless to change things?
  • Get looped into the same bad habits, day after day?
  • End up snapping at your kids or partner because you feel so stressed and tired?
  • Experience overwhelm at the magnitude of motherhood and the expectation to “do it all”?
  • Have things you dream about doing, but wonder how it’s going to be possible given how you currently feel?
  • Wonder how long you can “power through” before something gives?
  • Seem to be waiting for something to change, but not sure what or how? Perhaps for the kids to get older and THEN you’ll feel better?
  • Perhaps even feel ashamed that you’re experiencing any of the above-mentioned challenges? Like you “should” be able to do it all and not feel this way?

Yeah, I get this. All of this.

I’ve seen this struggle over & over for years as a pre/postnatal specialist and I experienced it myself as a mom. So I created something for lasting change!

Feeling utterly exhausted and having to “power through” the day is optional.

Introducing

Picture
I created Mama Thrive as an 8 week online, virtual dynamic group program. Together, women will experience powerful, lasting changes over the course of a year using the science of Ayurveda (yoga’s sister science) AND habit change science! Because we all get that just because you learn something in your head doesn’t mean you actually do it or live it.

INFORMATION DOES NOT EQUAL TRANSFORMATION!

This program guides you into daily habits that will help you feel more energized, less stressed, increased nourishment, deeper sleep, losing weight, and tuning in to YOU!

We focus on small, incremental steps with coaching, accountability, support, and inspiration!

So, what is Ayurveda? It’s a 5,000 year old system of health and well-being which the western medical world is already starting to validate and confirm. It’s not woo woo. IT’S POTENT HEALING AND ANCIENT WISDOM FOR MODERN MOMS! Couple that with techniques from the cutting edge of habit change research and you’ve got a recipe for success, transformation and THRIVE!
Picture
Having already had one child before taking this program, I couldn't be more grateful to have received the gift of the Ayurvedic habits shortly after having my second child. I suffered postpartum depression and felt like a prisoner to my circumstance as an exhausted new mother. This fostered a level of resentment toward my husband and children that brought me to a point of complete overwhelm and disconnection from them. When my son was three months old I was talking to my mom about weaning him from breastfeeding so I could get on anti-depressants.

And then I found this program.

After 2 weeks, I was sleeping better. After 6 weeks, I had lost 9 pounds and had more energy than I'd had in years. I learned there were so many little choices I was making in my day that led me further in the wrong direction, and all I had to do was make equally little choices in the RIGHT direction to turn things around. And it COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE. Looking back I wish I had taken the program before having kids. But either way, these tools have gifted me with a life of presence and ease and happy parenting, and any time is the perfect time to receive that!! “

"I can so clearly remember you describing the concept of kaizen at the beginning, and thinking how cool it would be to actually take some tiny steps and make some changes. I can't believe I can already look back and see how far I've come. What you've created with Mama Thrive is truly an incredible gift, and one that I now, more than ever, believe I (and everyone I know!) deserve to have. Thank you so much for your wisdom, honesty, and guidance. I wouldn't have gone on this journey with anyone else at the lead!"

Before the habits life was not bad, but my energy was very poor and my body didn’t feel vibrant and strong. I had a daughter who woke several times a night, and we were breastfeeding a lot. Then my father died and all of my ‘bad’ habits exacerbated each other. I was exhausted. I thought that going to bed at 11pm was early enough for someone who was sleep deprived . . . plus I wasn’t nourishing myself well with food. When I started practicing the habits, things slowly started to shift. Over the course of 18 months I made gradual changes. I started eating dinner with my daughter at 5:30pm, instead of waiting for her to be asleep then eating a late meal. I enjoyed the feeling of lightness when I went to bed!

Instead of feeling that 9-11pm could be the only time for ‘ME’, I started relishing the thought of being in bed by 10pm, so that the next day became better. I stopped having a glass of wine (or two) every night. Instead of seeing alcohol as a treat after a long day, I started seeing the clarity I felt the next morning without alcohol as the treat! In fact it ALL became about the next day feeling good, rather than how to ‘treat’ myself for a hard day looking after a toddler and running a business.

I let go of some of my perfectionist tendencies ( “What’s the point of a 5 minute yoga practice? Why bother meditating when I’m just going to be interrupted?” ) and instead, embraced the concept of kaizen – teeny, tiny changes in the right direction. Those teeny changes over the years have amounted to a significant lifestyle change! Amazingly, without any effort on my part, my husband started to see that I was happier and had more energy, and that I actually wanted to get out of bed in the morning. He started eating early with us too, and now hates a late heavy meal! (Didn’t see that one coming!) We even do a workout / yoga each morning.
My daughter sees me and my husband being active participants in our own lives – we exercise, we talk about the food we’re eating and why, she watches me as I lovingly massage my body every day, and even does it for herself sometimes. She is growing up with these ‘healthy habits’ and that brings me so much joy and hope for how she will respect her body throughout her life. “
What makes this program so different is exactly what makes it so effective.
Picture
Typically, you buy a program that's 100% online with no interaction with anyone- just you alone watching videos. Reading books and going to workshops can be motivating, but only for a while. You may have found that the results and motivation don’t stick and you end up feeling like you’ve failed or “just can’t do it”.

You CAN do it.

You've probably never been part of something like this. You are committing to show up for yourself and the desire you have to FEEL BETTER and to do things differently. And I’m also committing to YOU. I want to see you succeed and move into thrive. I want to see you personally succeed not only for yourself, but also because I know the ripple effect it will have on so many areas of your life, work, relationships, friendships, and parenting. We’ll do this together.

And for those times when you ARE struggling, guess what? I’m there for you as a coach. The entire group is there for you with support. And we’re all here to hold one another accountable. There are no lurkers and no hiding in the background in this group. You show up for yourself and you show up for others. And we do the same for you.

You don’t have to already have it all together. It doesn’t have to be the “right time”. I’ll meet you where you are. But you DO have to be committed to YOU.

After having my son, I felt incredibly low energy, fatigued, lonely, depleted. I felt especially depleted because of breastfeeding. He was really big and I felt like I could eat so many meals and STILL be hungry because my body was working so hard to make milk. It was draining. I went to moms groups, but it didn’t feel supportive- it felt like a contest. But I didn’t know how to create a supportive environment for myself. I knew what I was doing and how I was living wasn’t working. I wasn’t going to bed early, I was chugging coffee in the morning, and I had no routines that were self-care oriented. But I also didn’t know how to NOT feel so shitty all the time. I felt stuck at home and that I couldn’t do anything anymore.

I wasn’t ok with what my life looked like. It was a
bit of a life crisis! Since I had tried changing a hodge-podge of little things here and there and that wasn’t working, I decided to change everything!

When he was two years old, I discovered Ayurveda and signed up for a 9-month intensive, online group program. We sold our house and travelled in a camper around the U.S. while I dedicated myself to learning the habits of Ayurveda and healing myself. I learned these habits and they helped so much, but a big part was having a mentor that encouraged me. She was ON MY SIDE. A year later, when it was time to return home, I was in such a good place that I could restructure my life in a way that worked for ME, to support my mental and physical well-being as well as my family.

Learning the program habits was hugely empowering! It helped me realize these habits had just as much of an impact on me (if not more) than what was going on around me. They gave me back control over myself. If I didn’t have them to help me out of that dark place, I wouldn’t now be in this place of joy when my son starts kindergarten this fall. Because I KNOW I still would have been struggling just to make it through the days, unempowered. “

Take steps to feel better.
Things don’t change until YOU do.

1. What If I’d rather work with you one-on-one? I don’t really feel like I need a group.
If you want to get farther, faster, research shows that it's done in a group. The 1:1 model is slow, time-consuming and doesn't provide the significant results that being in a dynamic group can. From what I've heard and seen from current members, they're always getting inspired by the others' successes (something that can't happen 1:1), they feel reassured that they're not alone in their struggle as they see and hear others' stories and challenges... "oh it's not just ME", they benefit from the accountability of a group and people care when they celebrate their success- we cheer each other on and motivate one another. None of this happens in a 1:1 model. It's just so much more powerful and fun to be part of a group! :)
However, if you still REALLY feel 1:1 work is what will work best for you, schedule with me here.

2. I have a busy life and things are already a bit of a stretch. Is this going to be too much for me?
All of the mamas who are currently in the program have busy lives and many are going through some very serious life changes/family illness/death/divorce/moving/single-parenthood/you-name-it. That's how our modern lives roll. The difference is, they're wiling to PRIORITIZE this program and themselves amidst everything else. What I hear them say is that "I would be falling apart if I DIDN'T have these Ayurvedic habits and this group to lean into. I don't even want to think about what a bad place I'd be."
Don't wait until a crisis hits and then try to manage the crisis AND figure out how to take better care of yourself. We establish rhythms for our day, deep self-care, and community as a regular practice (even though we feel there isn't space or time).
The paradox, that I can tell you from experience and that these mamas can tell you, is that doing the program and implementing these habits GIVES you time and space and energy in a way that is inconceivable from your current way of being.
I can't say if it'll be "too much" for you. I can only ask- how long do you want to continue in your current state? If you're a part of this program know that you can take things slowly- it's a key component- and that there is no "being behind". Everyone is in their own place, going their own pace. I know you can do it too!

3. Things aren’t THAT bad for me. Would a program like this still benefit me?
Hands down- yes. If you're a human being living in our modern world you can benefit from learning and living Ayurvedic habits, aligning with circadian rhythm, learning habit change science which will carry over into other parts of your life and from connecting with a group of like-minded women! We all need this! The reality is most people wait until a disease state hits or a crisis happens and then frantically try to figure out how "things can change".
I work with women who aren't interested in letting things get "bad". I hope that's you. Let's reframe it- instead of thinking "well, things aren't THAT bad" perhaps ask yourself "are things as GOOD AS THEY CAN POSSIBLY BE?!" If the answer is yes, then email me because I want to learn from you! :) If the answer isn't a resounding "yes", then very seriously consider what else you could be doing so that things are getting BETTER over time, not stagnating or getting worse.

4. I have older kids (pre-teens or grown kids). Is this still for me?
YES!!!! You don't have to have toddlers! This is open to all mamas, even those that have grown children!!! Everyone benefits from learning Ayurvedic habits and daily rhythms for ease. I want all mamas to live vibrant lives and spread that through their own communities. Any age is welcome and benefits! Ayurveda helps you age gracefully, and in time, be a healthy, mobile grandmother! Lots of the things we in the West attribute to "old age" is actually due to the eventual culmination of our poor habits, and the stresses of living a Western lifestyle without understanding ancient wisdom for health and thrive.

5. I don't live in the Portland area. Can I still join?
YES!!! Because we're a virtual community you can access the live calls, Facebook group, materials and everything digitally or virtually from across the globe. Not all the current members are in Oregon. We do have a few in-person events from time-to-time in the Portland area, but they're optional and infrequent. Technology has made it possible for us to connect in amazing ways even across the country or globe!
STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?
EMAIL ME HERE.
"At one point I felt completely balanced in my mind- a way that I have never felt before. I was deep in the habits and everything was clicking and I was very calm and it was one of those aha moments where I had an epiphany of 'this is what it takes to have a balanced life'. It gave me a sense of joy and relief to know that that was possible."
